ElkY Surrenders to Fellow Frenchman

Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier has been eliminated by Tristan Clemencon. We only got there after all the drawing and betting was over.

Clemencon opened {2-}{7-}{8-}{6-}{5-} and ElkY mucked, got up and left very quickly.

Soulier Wasn't Lying

"We'll get there," said Fabrice Soulier a couple of hours ago when he saw us counting his short stack.

He just played a out hand with Barry Greenstein that he lost to drop to 15,000 in chips. Despite the loss, he spoke words of truth before.

We got to his table after the first draw and Greenstein led for 250 from the big blind. The Frenchman called and drew three while Greenstein drew one. Soulier called a 500 bet and drew two as Greenstein drew one again. When Greenstein fired again Soulier gave up and folded.

Players Out, Elezra Prepared

We overheard Mike Matusow saying earlier that he might take drugs up again as that might help him play better. We hope he doesn't go down that route after busting in this level.

Also out is defending champion Lenny Martin.

Eli Elezra said to us as he was putting a sweat top on, "Make sure you write down that the Rio has found the button the the air conditioning!"
