Melanie Weisner and Andrea Dato

Melanie Weisner is regarding by many as being one of the best heads-up players in the game. How is her six-max promise? Well we think it is not bad. Overall last year she cashed in an impressive 5 events and two of them were in the six-handed format. We just saw her laying down her hand on the river after being the recipient of an all-in jam for 7,300 from another female opponent who is sharing her table. The board was {J-Spades} {2-Spades} {10-Hearts} {3-Diamonds} and Weisner decided to wait for a better spot. She has 11,000 chips.

Andrea Dato may not be a familiar name to most of you. The Italian professional is regarding as one of the best six-max cash game players in Italy but he can also play tournaments as well. Earlier this year he made back-to-back World Poker Tour (WPT) Venice final tables finishing 3rd and 4th respectively cashing in over $150,000 in earnings. He also has WSOP form with a 3rd place cash in the $1,500 No-Limit Hold-em event held last year for $138,044. Dato is mingling with Arnaud Mattern and we just saw the two embroiled in a small pot.

The flop was {K-Clubs} {9-Spades} {2-Hearts}, Mattern checked in the small blind, the big blind checked and Dato bet 400 from the cutoff. Back to Mattern and he made the call before the big blind folded. The turn card was the {4-Hearts} and Mattern won the pot with a 600 bet. Dato has 14,000 and Mattern has 7,000.
