Broadway and a Redraw for Ahmed

Kirill Gerasimov raised from under the gun and Owais Ahmed reraised from the next seat. Action folded over to Jeff Lisandro in late position and he called. Everyone folded back to Gerasimov and he made the call.

The flop came down {Q-Hearts}{J-Spades}{8-Clubs} and Gerasimov checked. Ahmed fired a bet and Lisandro called. Gerasimov folded.

The turn was the {10-Hearts} and Ahmed bet again. Lisandro gave it up and Ahmed was awarded the pot. He showed the {A-Hearts}{K-Hearts} from his hand as he pulled in the pot.

More From Davis and Sklar

Raymond Davis is thoroughly confused at how Richard Sklar is still in the tournament and wants every to know it. He recently called us over again to show us the hands that Sklar has been playing. Again, this is according to Davis.

"{K-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{4-Spades}{2-Spades}," Davis showed us. "This is what he calls three-bets with out of position."

"You forgot to mention who the piece of cheese that raised was," replied Sklar.

"Seriously, though, are you okay?" asked Davis.

"I'm fine. I'm firing," answered Sklar.

Table 351 Off Probation

Level 1 : 200/400, 0 ante

Table 351 has a new dealer and a new setup again, but they've been taken off their "probation" as Chris George called it because no marked cards were found during the last dealer's half hour at the table. If the markings return, the staff will again implement dealers checking each and every card after a player folds.

Chop for Zhu and Zhukov

Five players were in action on the {J-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} flop. Ted Forrest, Bart Hanson and Yueqi Zhu all checked before defending champion Viacheslav Zhukov bet. Brian Hastings folded, followed by Forrest and Hanson folding and then Zhu called.

The turn was the {2-Diamonds} and Zhu check-called another bet from Zhukov. The river completed the board with the {9-Spades} and Zhu check-called again.

Zhu tabled the {A-Hearts}{10-Spades}{7-Spades}{3-Diamonds} and Zhukov the {A-Spades}{6-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{4-Hearts}. Zhu held the nut low and Zhukov a set of sixes for the high. The two chopped up the pot.

Probation for Table 351

Level 1 : 200/400, 0 ante

Yet another setup has been put into play on Table 351 due to the marking of cards. All of the players seem to be in agreement that no one is doing it on purpose, but it's still causing a problem.

The new decks were just put into play with a new dealer. The new dealer has been instructed to quickly check the backs of all cards as each player folds.

"I guess we're on probation," Chris George joked.

Are We Playing For Real Money?

Level 1 : 200/400, 0 ante

Raymond David called us over to his table to give us the scoop on what has been happening, specifically with Richard Sklar.

"First, he calls a raise with {A-}{K-}{10-}{6-}. Then he calls a {Q-}{5-}{3-} flop, a {7-} turn," explained Davis.

"With the best hand," interrupted Sklar.

"And then the {Q-} river. He's trying to lose. I don't think he knows we are playing for real money," said Davis.

With action already in the follwing hand, Sklar added, "Not playing for real money? Then I raise."

The two of them have continued to trade friendly barbs at each other throughout the level and we don't expect that to change any time soon.
