Hanson Survives

Bart Hanson started off in the under the gun +1 position and raised it up. Meng La was in the cutoff and made it three bets to go after which the action got folded back to Hanson. The initial raiser had 64,000 chips to start the hand with and he put in a four-bet. La pulled the trigger and got his opponent all in pre flop to create the following showdown.

Meng La {A-Spades}{10-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{4-Spades}
Bart Hanson

The flop brought out {K-Spades}{J-Spades}{5-Spades} giving La the nut flush, but Hanson still had out as he hit two pair. The turn was the {K-Clubs} and Hanson filled up. On the river the {2-Clubs} showed up and play went on with eight remaining players.

Elie Doft
Elie Doft

From the under the gun position Joe Cassidy just raised and he got called by Elie Doft who was in the big blind.

The flop came down {K-Spades}{3-Clubs}{7-Hearts} and Doft check-called a bet. The turn was the {2-Diamonds} and we saw another check-call.

The river was the {4-Diamonds} and this time Doft lead out for a 30,000 chip bet. Cassidy called and mucked when he saw Doft's {A-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{7-Spades}. A big scoop for Doft who knocks Cassidy back. The big chip lead is gone and it's anyones game here at the final table!

Ivey's Magic

Level 23 : 15,000/30,000, 0 ante

"Every time Phil Ivey wins a pot a unicorn and leprechaun are born," we just heard Maridu Mayrink say from the rail. We all know Ivey has amazing poker skills, but apparently he can do a lot more than just raking in chips!

The main feature table set has been filling up ever since word got out Mister Ivey was gunning for his ninth bracelet, and we expect a lot more famous faces as the night goes on.
