Over at Table 403, Ian Johns is trailing behind Hooman Nikzad. We recently caught up to find Johns raise preflop and receive a call from Nikzad.
The flop fell and Nikzad check-raised a bet from Johns. Johns called and the fell on fourth. Nikzad kept the pressure on, pushing out another bet. Johns peered at his cards, gave a sigh, and sent them to the muck.

Here is how the heads-up battle is traveling over on Table 14 at the moment. As you can see, Christopher Hartman is currently holding slightly less than a 2-1 chip lead.
When we were over at Justin Bonomo's table recently he had a stack of more than 70,000 and was edging ever-closer to Ramdin. However he recently lost a pot when he and Ramdin played a hand that saw a board spread out and Ramdin scooping up the chips when he turned over at showdown. Despite losing that hand, Bonomo is still in great shape compared to just 20 minutes ago.
When heads up play began at table 404, Millie Shiu had a commanding chip lead. Having just vanquished a top limit hold'em player in the form of Matt Matros, it looked like Shiu was on an easy cruise to the final table.
However, as the past hour or so of play has worn on, her opponent, Preston Derden, has battled back and gained the chip lead. In fact, Derden currently sits where Shiu was when heads up play began. The two have swapped spots with Derden sitting on 115,000 to Shiu's 45,000. Shiu is the last remaining woman in the field today and will have to win this match to give women everywhere a hope of taking down a gold bracelet for the ladies in this event.
Brock Parker has overcome his heads-up opponent Brandon Meyers to make it through to the final table. We came to Table 410 with a flop showing and Meyers short stacked against Parker. A check from Parker and Meyers would bet. Parker made the call and a hit the turn. This time Parker would lead and Meyers would commit the rest of his chips. Parker flicked in enough to call and the two players turned their hands over.
Parker:
Meyers:
Meyers was in trouble, needing a club to survive and when the hit the river, it was all over. Parker heads to the final table with 164,500 in chips.

The came on the river and Ramdin bet out once again. Bonomo raised and Ramdin quickly called.
"Kings and eights," said Bonomo, flipping up .
Ramdin let out an unhappy grunt and showed .
"Unbelievable, buddy, unbelievable," said Ramdin. Ramdin had Bonomo down to very few chips before this pot. Bonomo now has a few more chips to work with in his battle against Ramdin.
Table 402 is the final table to arrive at heads-up play. Jason Papastavrou was the player to hit the rail with a min-cash, while Ian Johns and Hooman Nikzad will now fight it out for a spot at the final table.
Back from the break and Justin Bonomo is struggling to run his stack up. Recently when we were by his table we noticed that Bonomo and Ramdin had played out a hand until a board had run out. There was over 20,000 already in the pot and Ramdin led out with a bet on the river. Bonomo tanked for a little while before opting to let his hand go. Bonomo now has only a few big bets.
The players are back from the break and ready to play some more limit hold'em. Currently all remaining tables are heads-up, except for Table 403 which is three-handed.
