We stumbled upon Allen Cunningham's table just in time to catch him busting a shortie. We didn't catch the losing hand, but we do know that Cunningham held to win the hand.
"Everything ok, Allen?" Eli Elezra asked from across the table, giving Cunningham some good-natured ribbing.
"I wish I had more money," Cunningham said with a smile. Even with the stack he has, Cunningham appears to be the early Day 2 chip leader.
After action was brought in by the , a short-stacked Adam Chaupneck completed and was met with a raise by Kevin MacPhee. Maria Mayrinck proceeded to make the call, as did Konstantin Puchkov, and Chalupneck three-bet all in. Three calls ensued and then Mayrinck led out on the turn when she paired her queen.
Puchkov and MacPhee both called, as they did when Mayrinck bet fifth. On sixth, Mayrinck fired a third time, Puchkov raised and MacPhee got out of the way. Mayrinck fired one last time on seventh, and Puchkov called.
Kevin MacPhee just took a nice pot off the aforementioned Konstantin Puchkov. There was a pretty sizable pot in the middle of the table when we walked up to sixth street.
MacPhee: (x-x) / / (x)
Puchkov: (x-x) / / (x)
MacPhee got bets in on the only two streets we saw, and Puchkov called him down. Mr. MacPhee opened up / and declared his three sevens to take the pot.
