Key Matchups

Level 2 : 50/100, 0 ante

It seems most of the field is waiting for their opponent to show up or earning byes into the next round. However, there a couple of key matchups including; Marco Traniello vs. Scott Seiver and Matt Marafioti vs AP Phahurat.

Sweating Negreanu

Level 2 : 50/100, 0 ante

A lot of the fan boys and girls come to the WSOP to rail Daniel Negreanu. Today is a good day to come and watch their hero as he's sat right on the corner of a section where he's viewable from two sides.

He's down little on chips (7,600) to his opponent after two small hands.

Neagreanu raised to 250 and called when three-bet to 750. The flop fell {5-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} and the Canadian folded to a 625 c-bet.

The next hand Negreanu called a min raise to 200 to see a {j-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{9-Hearts} flop where both players checked. This opened the door for Negreanu to fire 325 and 750 on the {5-Diamonds}{5-Spades} turn and river. The turn bet was called but the river bet was too much for his opponent.
