Updates from Around the Room

We strolled by Matt Affleck's seat to find it vacant, his tournament life come to an end.

On the other side of the Brasilia room we found David Chicotsky sitting on a stack of 7,500. To Chicotsky's immediate right is 2007 WSOP Main Event champion Jerry Yang with a stack of 8,100.

Dutch Doubles One Up

We found Dutch Boyd call the all in of a short stacked opponent before the flop. Boyd's opponent was all in for about 2,100 and held {A-Hearts}{K-Clubs} which was crushing Boyd's {K-Hearts}{9-Clubs}.

The board fell {2-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{A-Spades}{J-Spades} and Boyd was forced to ship a small chunk of chips over to his opponent. He's still sitting on a more than healthy stack, however.
