Welcome to our coverage of Day 2 of Event 31: $1,500 No-Limit Hold'em. Yesterday saw 2,811 entrants whittled down to 331. That means we're just 34 eliminations away from the money where each player remaining is guaranteed $2,770.

Leading the pack at the end of play yesterday was Cherish Andrews who is sitting on a massive stack of 225,990. Wai Cheng is the second biggest stack with 153,000. Rounding out the top three is 2010 November Niner Soi Nguyen who has 135,200.

There are several notable names returning to the felt today. Among those to vie for a World Series of Poker cash today are Dwyte Pilgrim, Erik Cajelais, Mike McDonald, John Juanda, Lauren Kling, and 2009 WSOP Main Event champion Joe Cada.

We expect to reach the final three tables by the end of the night. Regardless we will be playing a full ten levels today.

Stay tuned as we keep you up to date with all of the latest action from the tournament floor!
