Naoya Kihara Running Hot

Naoya Kihara has the whole of Table #447 in stunned silence. We have just seen him seriously dent the hopes of two of the very best.

The first person he damaged was Tom Marchese. The board was showing {10-Hearts} {5-Hearts} {Q-Hearts} {A-Spades} {4-Clubs} and Marchese paid of a 33,000 river bet to reduce him to 60,000. Kihara showed {A-Hearts} {K-Hearts} {K-Diamonds} {2-Spades} and Marchese mucked his hand.

Next it was the short stacked Samuel Chartier to feel the wrath of Kihara. Our hand analysis was disrupted due to the Parkinson bust-out but we know that Charter paid off another river value bet from - the man from Japan - and is now down to 23,000 chips. Kihara has around 660,000.

Three Aces Good in the Hole?

When you have three aces in you're hand in PLO, you know you're ahead pre flop but will find it hard to improve post flop. Sometimes you don't need to though.

Jonas Entin called Elton Beebe's shove whilst saying, "I call as I know I'm ahead as I have three aces and a king."

Entin: {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{k-Diamonds}
Beebe: {k-Hearts}{k-Spades}{7-Spades}{3-Diamonds}

The board ran {9-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}.

"Good game, brother." added Entin.

Jan Collado & Samuel Chartier Are Out

We joined the action with the turn already laid out on a board of {A-Clubs} {J-Hearts} {5-Diamonds} {K-Clubs} when Sam Chartier and Naoya Kihara decided to get it all-in.

Kihara{A-Spades} {K-Hearts} {10-Clubs} {9-Hearts}
Chartier{J-Clubs} {10-Spades} {9-Diamonds} {5-Clubs}

Kihara ahead and the victory was confirmed when the {7-Hearts} completed the board. Chartier was out and joining him was Jan Collado who was eliminated a few moments earlier at the hands of Dermot Blain.

Naoya Kihara Eliminates Dermot Blain

Naoya Kihara has just added another scalp to his collection. This time it is the Irishman Dermot Blain who has melted away against the white hot heat of the Japanese run. Dermot Blain had top set ({Q-} {Q-} {A-} {x-}) on a flop of {Q-} {9-} {4-} (two hearts) versus the {K-} {K-} {7-} {8-} (three hearts) of Kihara. The third heart hit the turn, there was no pairing of the board on the river and Kihara adds another 175,000 to his ever growing empire.

Adam Junglen Eliminates Shaun Deeb

Shaun Deeb out in 27th place
Shaun Deeb out in 27th place

Shaun Deeb has been eliminated in 27th place by Adam Junglen.

We joined the action on the turn with the board showing {A-Diamonds} {10-Hearts} {6-Hearts} {2-Diamonds} and Deeb moved all-in from the big blind for 35,500. Junglen wished his friend good luck and made the call.

Junglen{K-Hearts} {Q-Spades} {J-Diamonds} {10-Spades}
Deeb{A-Diamonds} {10-Hearts} {6-Hearts} {2-Diamonds}

So Deeb was ahead with two pair and Junglen was the man who needed help. The dealer slapped the {Q-Clubs} onto the river and Junglen made his straight.

Dewitt Straightens Out Bohlman

Jason Dewitt's stack was faltering again until he almost doubled versus Scott Bohlman.

We caught up with the action on the turn where the board read {a-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}. Bohlman was in the small blind and led out for 11,500 before Dewitt raised the pot (56,500), with only 35,000 behind.

Bohlman thought long and hard about his decision, and then elected to just call. The river appeared as {3-Diamonds} and both players checked.

Dewitt opened {q-Spades}{j-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} for a straight. Bohlman flashed {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs} and mucked.
