Phil Ivey just keeps going deep day after day here at the 2012 World Series of Poker and he even impresses some other big names.
David Benyamine just stopped by to check out the action and saw Ivey seated in the final 27 players. "Phil Ivey, you're my hero!" yelled out Benyamine from the rail. Everyone, including Ivey, got a laugh.
Benyamine went on to needle Ivey a bit, but in jest. "This guy, he's just toying with everyone! He keeps doing deep and making final tables, but then busts out in second, third or fourth place!" he joked. "I guess he just wants to win the last one!" he finished, to which he implied the Main Event at the end of the Series.
"Or the second to last one," responded Ivey with a turn of his head to the rail, hinting towards the $1,000,000 One Drop event.
