A Decidedly Different Rail

Level 7 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Since security escorted some of the members of the British rail off the stage before the break, there is a much quieter and smaller rail in attendance.

Jonathan Lane Eliminated in 4th Place ($112,512)

Jonathan Lane
Jonathan Lane

With the flop reading {8-Spades}{7-Spades}{9-Clubs}, Jonathan Lane bet out only to find a raise from Antonio Esfandiari. Lane three-bet the action to 850,000 and Antonio four-bet all in. Lane, the second biggest stack at the table who is bested only by Esfandiari made the call for his tournament life:

Esfandiari: {J-Clubs}{10-Clubs}
Lane: {6-Clubs}{5-Spades}

Antonio flopped the nut straight while Lane flopped the low end. The dealer showed the two the {Q-Clubs} on the turn and Esfandiari's arms slowly raised up in the air as he ran to his rail to give out high fives. The {Q-Spades} completed the board and just like that Lane was sent home and Esfandiari has a dominating chip lead over the rest of the field.
