The Tank Man

Francisco Riosvallejo tangled with Gabriel Nassif and the latter took age over every decision.

We caught up with the action on the {8-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} flop and Riosvallejo led out for 6,600. Nassif took about two minutes and calmly slid in the call.

The turn landed as {q-Clubs} and Riosvallejo fired for 9,400. Another two minutes of thinking and stack counting went on from Nassif before he called again. The river was the {a-Clubs} and Riosvallejo checked.

Nassif took three minutes to dwell and and counted out every one of his chips that added up to 22,200. Finally he checked behind and was shown {a-Hearts}{j-Spades} and folded.

"There are some players who wait to make hands before building pots, and there are some players who build pots while waiting for hands!" commented Layne Flack.

"I didn't say I was good," responded Riosvallejo.

"I didn't say you were bad!" Flack came back.
