Haxton Doing Great

Isaac Haxton
Isaac Haxton

When we arrived at Isaac Haxton's table there was a flop showing {7-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{4-Hearts} and Michael Borovetz was first to act. He opted to check and Haxton sent a bet of 11,000 onto the felt. There was already over 20,000 in the pot and after some though, Borevetz let the hand go and sent the pot to Haxton. A great day so far for Haxton has seen his stack increase by a huge amount after bagging up quite a small stack last night.

Evans Busted

Dwight Farrell shook off the pot loss to Kristijonas Andrulis before by eliminating Nicky Evans.

Evans opened from under the gun and Farrell defended his big blind to see a {10-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{a-Hearts} flop come down.

Evans continued for 10,500 and was check-raised up to 21,000. Evans responded by shoving for 67,000. Farrell took a long time and eventually called with {a-Spades}{9-Spades}.

Evans opened the drawing {8-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} but failed to hit through the {k-Spades}{7-Diamonds} turn and river.

Confident Declaration by Clements

Scott Clements and Zachary Korik had made it to the river in a hand and around 50,000 had made it into the middle.

The board read {7-Hearts}{9-Spades}{9-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{10-Clubs}. Clements checked to Korik who tanked and checked behind.

"Ace high," said a confident sounding Clements as he opened {a-Spades}{j-Spades}. Korik mucked. We say Clements was confident, but that could always have been the caffeine talking!

Borovetz Booming

Michael Borovetz is sitting behind a very large stack right now, with plenty of those chips coming courtesy of Isaac Haxton. A recent hand between those two started when Borovetz opened to 9,000. Haxton was on his direct left and after quite some time, three-bet to 27,000. With the rest of the table out of the way, Borovetz called and the dealer readied three cards.

On the {q-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{a-Clubs} flop, both players checked, just as the did on the turn ({q-Clubs}) and the river ({10-Hearts}). When Borovetz tabled {k-Clubs}{j-Spades} for a rivered broadway straight perhaps it was a missed opportunity to grab more of Haxton's chips.

Flack Adds to Stack

Layne Flack is up to a quarter of a million chips after he eliminated a player. He was sat in the big blind with {j-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} and called a 36,000 shove from a player in late position.

The board ran a safe {2-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}.

Flack has Sam Razavi to his left now. He might not enjoying having him there poker wise, but both have a devilish sense of humor so there will be plenty of laughs to be had.
