Big Pot for Jachtmann

Kory Kilpatrick was all in on the turn with the board reading {Q-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{4-Clubs}. He held {10-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{9-Spades}{8-Clubs} for a set nines along with flush and straight draws. His opponent, Jan-Peter Jachtmann, held top set and a straight draw with the {Q-}{Q-}{6-}{3-}.

The river was the {A-Diamonds} and a blank as far as Jachtmann was concerned and he eliminated Kilpatrick en route to 365,000 in chips.

Kornuth Chips Up

Adam Kornuth and Benjamin Sage were heads up with the board reading {a-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{k-Clubs}{5-Hearts}. Kornuth led out for around 3,500, and Sage made the call. The river was the {7-Clubs} and Kornuth led again - this time for 4,800. Sage called.

Kornuth showed {6-Diamonds}{4-Spades} for a rivered straight, and then turned over {a-Clubs}{j-Spades} as well. Sage mucked, but is still above 300,000 chips.

"You Rivered Me?"

Bryn Kenney opened to 4,000 from early position, and Ben Grundy potted to 14,400 from middle position. Kenney called, and the flop came {j-Spades}{10-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}. Grundy had very few chips, and they were quickly in the middle.

The {9-Spades} on the turn gave Kenney two pair, but it also gave Grundy a jack-high straight. The {9-Clubs} spiked on the river however, and Grundy was eliminated.

"You rivered me?" Grundy said, examining the board. "You rivered me? Great."

Grundy threw his cards across the table, and three of them flew off of the table. He stormed away from the table, but realized he forgot something. He came back, grabbed what he had forgotten, then exited the Amazon Room.

Shklover Sent Packing

There was about 62,700 in the middle and the flop was {10-Clubs}{7-Spades}{4-Spades}. Naoya Kihara bet enough to put Michael Shklover all in, and Shklover called.

The {9-Clubs} on the turn gave Kihara a straight, and the {2-Hearts} completed the board, eliminating Shklover from the tournament.

Binger Bluffs BKiCe

When we reached Table 446, the flop and turn had already been dealt, and the board read {10-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{k-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}. Andy "BKiCe" Seth led for 10,600. Michael Binger called.

The river was another ten - the {10-Clubs} - and Seth checked. Binger fired 18,000, and Seth tank-folded. Binger proudly showed {a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{2-Clubs} for ace-high, and raked in the pot.
