John Hennigan raised to 8,000 and Greg Mueller reraised to 33,000. Hennigan moved all in and Mueller called it off to put himself at risk. Mueller held pocket queens, but was behind the pocket kings for Hennigan.
A king on the turn sealed the deal for Hennigan and sent Mueller to the rail.
No-Limit Hold'em
We just lost Brian Hastings is a massive No-Limit Hold'em pot which gave Andy Bloch an ever bigger chip lead.
The flop read 
, and Bloch check-called a 13,000 chip bet. The turn was the 
and now Bloch check-called 42,000. On the river the 
hit, completing a possible back-door flush.
Bloch checked a third time, and Hastings fired out a hefty 125,000 chip bet. Bloch moved all in, and Hastings tanked for about two minutes before calling of his final 96,000 chips.
At the showdown, Bloch tabled the 
for the nut flush and Hastings was eliminated, mucking his hand without showing.

Action folded to short stack John D'Agostino on the button and he raised. Justin Smith reraised from the big blind and D'Agostino reraised. Smith raised again and D'Agostino called.
On the first draw, Smith drew one and D'Agostino drew one. Smith then bet and D'Agostino called all in for 4,600. Smith then stood pat and D'Agostino drew one. On the third and final draw, Smith was pat again and D'Agostino drew one.
Smith showed an and beat D'Agostino's .

Jon Spinks raised under the gun to 7,000 and Brian Hastings three-bet from the button to 21,000. Spinks made the call, and we went heads up to the flop.
The flop came down 
, and both players checked. The turn was the 
and Spinks checked again. Hastings bet 27,000, and after some deliberation Spinks called. The river was the 
and both players checked once more.
Spinks tabled 
, and Hastings mucked his cards. Despite winning this hand Spinks is down a bit since the start of the day, and Hastings is still right around his starting stack.

We just lost 1999 World Series of Poker bracelet winner and 23rd place finisher in last year's Main Event, John Esposito. Dan Shak and David Oppenheim were both involved in this hand that got scooped by the latter.

On fourth street both Shak and Oppenheim checked to Esposito who bet, and both player called. Shak checked sixth street and Oppenheim bet, Esposito raised all in, Shak three-bet and Oppenheim put in the fourth raise. Shak called.
On seventh street Shak bet and Oppenheim called. Shak showed 
for two pair, and Oppenheim tabled 
for trip deuces and an eight-seven-four-three-deuce low. Esposito mucked his cards and Oppenheim took down this big pot.

Charles Pacheco completed the bet on third and Greg Mueller raised. Daniel Alaei made the call and then Pacheco called as well.
On fourth street, Mueller bet, Alaei called and then Pacheco raised to 9,100 and was all in. Mueller called and Alaei called.
On fifth street with Pacheco all in, Mueller bet and Alaei called. The same thing happened on sixth and seventh.
On the end, Mueller showed the for a pair of aces and a six-five low. Alaei mucked and Mueller won the side pot.
For the main pot that had Pacheco's tournament life in the balance, Mueller also won that one. Pacheco mucked his hand as well.

Wattel completed the action on third street and both D'Agostino and Brown called. On fourth street Wattel bet, D'Agostino folded and Brown called. On fifth street both players checked. Sixth street created a lot of action when Wattel bet, Brown raised and Wattel three-bet. Brown moved all in and Wattel called.
Brown was looking to make a better low on seventh street, in order to scoop the pot. With a pair of fives he was also in front to win the high, but on the river Wattel caught the , completing his flush. Brown missed his low draw, he got the , and that was it for him.

Barry Greenstein was all in against Bill Chen on fifth street with the /

. When the money had gone in, Chen was in the lead with a pair of eights and that had Greenstein on the ropes. Both players also had three to a low.
Greenstein's board ran out to give him aces and queens. Chen's ran out to give him aces and fours. Greenstein won the pot as neither player made a low and he doubled up.
