McDonald Busts Humphrey

Zachary Humphrey opened the action by moving his last 35,000 all in as the second person to act. It folded to Greg Hobson who announced a call. Action then moved to Mike McDonald who moved all in for about 52,000 more from the button.

After tanking, Hobson mucked his hand and the two hands were exposed:

McDonald: {A-Spades}{k-Hearts}
Humphrey: {Q-Spades}{9-Hearts}

The board ran out {A-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{6-Spades} and McDonald's pair of aces were enough to send Humphrey packing.

Davies Does it Big

Seth Davies managed to raise it up to 7,100 preflop and soon found himself facing a three-bet of 20,500 from Mustapha Kanit. Davies allowed for a minute or so to drip off the clock before putting out a four-bet of 20,500. Another minute fell off the clock and Kanit announced "all in", and Davies snap called.

Davies: {Q-}{Q-}
Kanit: {K-Clubs}{7-Clubs}

Davies was the short stack of the two and would be the one at risk. The board came {10-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{q-Spades}{9-Hearts}{3-Hearts} and with that Kanit was basically crippled and Davies skyrocketed into the chip lead.

Schwartz Loses Some

Action folded around to Justin Schwartz before the flop and he raised it to 6,500 from late position. His opponent on the button called and the two were heads up to the flop of {K-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}{Q-Spades}.

Schwartz continued out for 6,500 and received a call. The same process occurred once again on the {8-Diamonds} turn only with a bet of 16,500.

They both checked the {5-Diamonds} river and Schwartz announced "Five".

"I have an eight," his opponent replied, showing {A-Hearts}{8-Clubs}. Schwartz slapped his hand into the muck and allowed his opponent to rake the pot.
