A handful of tables started play after the break. The field has surpassed last year's number of 865.
2012 World Series of Poker
Phil Ivey was down below starting stack, but has since risen above it again, thanks to the following hand. When we arrived at the table, Ivey was in the small blind and he and the button player were committing 1,325 each through unknown action.
On the

flop, Ivey led flicked out a bet of 2,000 and his opponent made the call. The
on the turn would see Ivey tumble a bet of 4,500 out onto the felt - leaving himself with less than 2,000 behind. The player looked at Ivey's stack several time before deciding to let it go, sending the pot to Ivey.
More and more players have piled into Event 50 during the break. There are currently 855 players registered and with time left to see that number increase. Last year's event had just 10 more than that and it is looking very likely that we will eclipse that number within the next two levels.
The players are back from their break and ready to get straight back into the poker action.

We could just blog Table 19 with all the golden material we're getting from there. The latest thing we heard was from Layne Flack.
"I'll play the Ladies Event on one condition. I'll play if Daniel Negreanu will come call me a d@*chebag to my face."
Some ridiculous tables have been formed. Over on Table 19 in the Gold Section sit a table sharks.
