2012 World Series of Poker
Players have taken their seats and cards are back in the air!
Level: 15
Blinds: 1,200/2,400
Ante: 400
It's time for the second 20-minute break of the day.
With around 15,000 in the pot and a flop of

, Chamath Palihapitiya checked from the small blind and Dmitry Kataev did the same from the big. Jason Wheeler took the opportunity to bet 7,000, which only Palihapitiya called.
Both players then checked the
turn before Palihapitiya bet 13,000 on the
river. Wheeler gave it about 30 seconds worth of thought before tossing his hand to the muck.
For those who don't know Palihapitiya, he was a part of Facebook's original executive team, but retired in 2011 after serving as Vice President of Facebook's Growth, Mobile & International divisions. In last year's Main Event, Palihapitiya went deep and finished in 101st place, good for $54,851.
Palihapitiya, who is decked out in One Drop gear, is slated to play the upcoming $1-million buy-in BIG ONE for ONE DROP on Sunday.

Action began on Gavin Smith under-the-gun, who opened to 4,400. He was called by the player directly behind him and another player in middle position. John Tabatabai then three-bet to 14,000 from the small blind. Smith called and everyone else folded for a heads-up pot.
Both players then proceeded to check down every street on the

board. Tabatabai tabled
and Smith flipped over
for nines and fives and scooped the pot.
Gavin is sitting on 95,000.

We saw Lee Childs, who finished seventh in the 2007 World Series of Poker Main Event, standing on the rail packing his headphones, which lead us to believe he's been eliminated.
He confirmed our suspicions and informed us that his demise came after an opponent opened for 4,200 and he moved all in for 27,000. His opponent, who held
, made the call, and Childs'
didn't improve.

The action started with Joseph Cheong opening it up to 4,300 from early position. Only Andrew Weisner called on the button and it was on to Kyle Julius in the small blind. Julius opted to three-bet to 13,200. Cheong made the call and so did Weisner.
Flop:

On the flop, Julius led for 10,200 and Cheong quickly raised it up to 28,000. Weisner got out of the way and after plenty of thought, Julius called.
On the
turn, Julius checked and Cheong said, "I'm all in." Those words were enough to see Julius' cards straight into the muck as Cheong raked in the nice pot.

Terrence Chan already has nine cashes in the 2012 WSOP, but he won't be getting his record-tying tenth in this event.

tchanpoker Terrence Chan Out #wsop50. AJ>KQs for a 65k pot. I never looked up, groans resonating through the table told me all I needed to hear. Tough one.
