Kessler Out of Line

We don't know exactly how the action went, but we know some betting took place that ended with Allen Kessler moving all in for about 40,000. Action was on Nick Abou Risk, who took his time deciding what his best option was. In the end Risk announced "call", to which Kessler asked "do you have ace-queen?". Risk's response was to flip over his hand, {4-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}. Kessler scoffed at his opponent telling him "what an awful call". Kessler then took his time to expose his {j-}{j-}.

Kessler was ahead going to the {6-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} flop. The {4-Spades} on the turn brought Kessler saying "I f**king knew it" and went on to berate Risk even more, repeating how awful of a call Risk made. The {7-Hearts} on the river just gave Kessler more fuel for his tantrum. Kessler was also not happy with the dealer, who apparently spread the chips in the middle when no one asked him to. Kessler then would take turns muttering curse words about the dealer and Risk, until he eventually packed his Ipad in his plastic bag and stormed off to his pay off.

David Bernstein Doubles Through Ian Chan

David Bernstein has just doubled through Ian Chan, but boy did he have to sweat!

Bernstein{A-Clubs} {K-Clubs}
Chan{A-Spades} {Q-Spades}

Bernstein was in a great spot but the flop of {Q-Diamonds} {J-Diamonds} {2-Hearts} was a horrible way to start a showdown. The turn {9-Spades} didn't change much but the {K-Diamonds} certainly did. Bernstein clapping his hands together in relief as he doubled to 48,000.

Sofia Lovgren Doubling and More

David Singotinko raised to 7,000 in the cutoff before the player on the button three-bet to 17,000. Sofia Lovgren was seated in the small blind and moved all-in for 19,500. Singotinko mucked and the button asked the dealer to pull the bet in because, "I'm way behind."

Eventually the call was made and we had a showdown.

Lovgren{7-Clubs} {7-Hearts}
Button{K-Diamonds} {5-Diamonds}

Singotinko's eyes lit up when he saw the light three-bet. The flop was {K-Spades} {Q-Diamonds} {7-Spades} and for a moment the button thought he had struck gold until Lovgren reminded him, in her own quiet way, that she had a set. The turn {2-Diamonds} and river {2-Spades} handing Lovgren a full-house and 60,000 chips.

Savinelli Scores

The flop read {3-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} and Carlo Savinelli faced a bet of around 25,000 from his opponent. Savinelli, the larger stack of the two announced all in, a bet of around 65,000. Savinelli snap called and cards were exposed.

Savinelli: {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}
Opponent: {k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}

Savinelli possessed the lead for now with ace high, but his opponent had a flush draw. The {4-Clubs} on the turn changed nothing, and the {2-Spades} secured the victory in Savinelli's favor. Savinelli jumped in the air with his fist held high after he saw the two fall on the river, overcome with excitement.

Eames Earns Some

We don't know exactly how the action went, but from what we could gather a player moved all in against John Eames and Eames snap called. Players at the table even commented saying "that's the fastest call I have ever seen".

Eames held {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds} while his opponent had {A-}{6-}. The board blanked out for the ace and the six and Eames was awarded the substantial pot.

Will Jaffe Eliminates Rolf Slotboom

We just caught Rolf Slotboom departing proceedings. The table told us that he pushed all-in after a raise by Nghi Van Tran and a call by Will Jaffe. Van Tran then called the all-in but had to fold when Jaffe moved over the top.

Jaffe{J-Hearts} {J-Clubs}
Slotboom{A-Spades} {3-Hearts}

Slotboom asked the dealer, in a very polite manner, for an ace and the dealer duly obliged - {A-Diamonds} {9-Hearts} {8-Diamonds}. Slotboom remained unmoved and when the {J-Diamonds} arrived on the turn he simply shook the hand of his opponent and prepared for the worst. The river {8-Spades} sealing the fate of Slotboom and he was out.
