Phil Hellmuth
Phil Hellmuth

From early position, Rick Salomon raised to 55,000. Robert Bright called from the small blind and 12-time World Series of Poker gold bracelet winner Phil Hellmuth called from the big blind.

On the {A-Clubs}{7-Spades}{6-Spades} flop, Bright and Hellmuth checked to Salomon. He bet 105,000 and Bright called. Hellmuth also called.

The turn was the {5-Spades} and all three players checked to see the {8-Diamonds} fall on the river. After Bright checked, Hellmuth slid forward 250,000. Salomon called and Bright called.

Hellmuth showed the {J-Spades}{9-Spades} for a spade flush, jack-high. Both of his opponents mucked and Hellmuth won the pot. He's now at nearly nine million in chips.

Sexton tabled {10-Spades}{9-Spades} for a rivered flush, and Mizrachi shook his head before mucking his cards.

Jonathan Dumamel and Bill Perkins
Jonathan Dumamel and Bill Perkins

Brian Rast opened for 45,000 from under the gun and got four callers — Jonathan Duhamel (hijack), Bill Perkins (cutoff), Richard Yong (small blind), and Brandon Steven (big blind).

The flop came {9-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{10-Spades}, and it checked around to Duhamel who bet 115,000. The action on Perkins, he stared at the board for a few seconds, then looked over at Duhamel, then at the dealer. "Raise," he said, then after carving out the calling chips, added another 350,000 for a total bet of 465,000.

The table promptly folded back to Duhamel who thought for a moment, then slid his remaining stack of about 325,000 forward to call.

Perkins tabled {8-Spades}{7-Spades} for a flopped straight, while Duhamel showed {Q-Clubs}{10-Clubs} for top pair and a flush draw. The turn was the {K-Hearts} and river the {8-Hearts}, and Table 401 has claimed yet another victim here just before the dinner break.

Gus Hansen
Gus Hansen

After a raise from Talal Shakerchi from the cutoff seat and a call from Noah Schwartz on the button, Gus Hansen called from the small blind and the flop came down {K-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{6-Hearts}.

After a check from Schwartz and Hansen, Shakerchi bet 115,000. Schwartz put in a raise to 310,000 and then Hansen tanked long and hard. After a minute or two, Hansen slid out a reraise to 888,000. Voulgaris Back to Starting Stack

Cary Katz raised to 50,000 from middle position and received a call from Phil Ruffin on the button. Guy Laliberté and Haralabos Voulgaris both came along from the small and big blinds respectively, making it four-way action to the {4-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{3-Clubs} flop, which all players checked.

When the {6-Hearts} appeared on the turn, Laliberté led out for 85,000 but was immediately raised to 185,000 by Voulgaris. Both Katz and Ruffin got out of the way, and Laliberté thought for about five seconds before doing the same.
