Hall Monitor Mercier

Level 11 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante

Paul Newey raised from early position to 125,000. Bill Perkins called from the big blind and the flop came down {6-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}. Perkins fired 100,000 and Newey began to tank. Perkins stood up when he heard there was an all in at another table and began to walk over to watch it.

"Can you just hold the action for one minute?" said Perkins as Newey folded his hand.

Cary Katz and Jason Mercier were the only other two at the table as everyone, including Newey, left to watch the all in. They both said you couldn't hold up the action and everyone had to come back to the table.

"Hall monitor Mercier," joked Perkins.
