Joe's Turn to Tick Up

Joe Hachem's brother Tony has shot up the chip counts today, and Joe just won a hand off of Isaac Haxton, pushing him above the six-figure mark.

There was about 26,500 in the pot when we reached the table, and the flop had already fallen {9-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{8-Clubs}. Hachem led out for 16,500 from the small blind, and Haxton called from the button.

The turn was the {7-Diamonds}, and Hachem slowed down, check-calling 17,000 from Haxton. Both players knuckled after the {4-Diamonds} completed the board, and Hachem opened up {k-Spades}{9-Spades} for a pair of nines. Haxton mucked, and Hachem raked in the pot.
