Just before the level went up, and with about 7,000 in the pot and a board reading , it appeared Mike "The Mouth" Matusow checked from the hijack and allowed Felicia Johnico to bet 4,300 from the cutoff.
Matusow then check-raised to 20,000, which was essentially his whole stack. Johnico thought for a long time before folding . "Good fold," Matusow said as he pulled in the pot.
We caught the action on a flop when a raising war broke out between Yuval Bronshtein and Mel Randolph, which resulted in the latter being all in for 13,800.
Showdown
Bronshtein
Randolph
"Wow, you have a good hand," Bronshtein said after seeing Randolph's cards. Indeed, Bronshtein needed help if he was going to eliminate Randolph, which he wouldn't get as the turn and river came out the and . With that, Randolph doubled to nearly 30,000.
We arrived at Jennifer Tilly's table with a flop out on the felt and with Tilly and Stephan Gerin both committing 3,500 to the pot. On the turn, Tilly shoved all in for around 12,000 and Gerin made the call - having a similar sized stack to Tilly.
Tilly:
Gerin:
Tilly had plenty of draws, but Gerin already had a full house and when the hit the river, Tilly's cards would go into the muck. At this point Tilly got out of her chair, assuming she was eliminated. However, when the chip stacks were counted out, Tilly still had 500 remaining. Unfortunately Tilly couldn't run that stack up as she was eliminated just a few hands later.
Action folded around to James Calderaro in the hijack and he raised to 1,900. Jim Geary was next to act in the cutoff and responded by moving all in for 5,700. The button and both blinds got out of the way, Calderaro made the call, and the cards were turned up:
Showdown
Calderaro
Geary
The flop was kind to Geary as it kept him ahead with aces and made sure there would be no low. The turn left Calderaro drawing dead, and Geary was pushed the pot after the was put out on the river.
When we arrived at Table 360 there was already a board showing, with over 6,000 in the pot. Amnon Filippi, Chris Bell and Angelo Wong were involved in the hand and at this point, Wong was busy flicking out a bet of 2,500. Both Filippi and Bell made the call and the completed the board on the river.
At this point Wong moved all in for less than the pot. Both Filippi and Bell again made the call and both tabled their hands.
Bell:
Wong:
As you can see, Bell took down the low and Wong the high, while Filippi's cards went straight into the muck.
