Binger Tanks, Then Doubles

The action folded to Jean-Robert Bellande, who raised to 12,000 on the button. Nick Schulman folded his small blind, and Michael Binger went into the tank from the big. After about a minute and a half, he folded, and Bellande took off one of his headphones.

"What are you doing?" he asked Binger. "I've never called the clock on anyone, and I was about to call it on you before the draw!"

"It was for a third of my stack," Binger replied.

The banter continued as the next hand began, and the action folded to Binger, who moved all in. Rep Porter called out of the big blind.

Binger fanned {10-}{9-}{8-}{6-}{5-}, and Porter showed {9-}{6-}{3-}{2-}. We didn't catch his down card, but it didn't improve his hand, because he mucked.

"That's why I did that," Binger told Bellande.

Schulman Extends Chip Lead

Ashton Griffin raised to 10,000 from the button and Nick Schulman called out of the big blind. Schulman drew one card and Griffin opted to draw two.

Shulman checked after the draw and Griffin continued out for 21,000. Schulman dipped into his stack of pink t5,000 chips and came out with a raise to 75,000. It was at this point that Griffin went into the tank for a little over a minute.

Eventually, Griffin announced a call. Schulman tabled {8-}{7-}{4-}{3-}{2-} and Griffin flung his cards at the muck. With this pot Schulman is now over 400,000 and our overwhelming chip leader.

Two Cold Four-Bets

Bob Bright opened to 11,000 from the cutoff, Erik Seidel three-bet to 30,000 on the button, and George Danzer cold four-bet shoved from the big blind. Bright and Seidel both released, and Danzer took the pot.

Over at an adjacent table, Andy Bloch opened to 10,500, David Grey three-bet to 30,000, and Larry Wright grabbed a tower of purple T5,000 chips, cold four-betting to 100,000. Bloch and Grey folded, and Wright took down the pot.

Eslami Doubles

John Juanda opened to 9,500 from under the gun and Ali Eslami re-raised to 21,500. Juanda called and both players drew one card.

Juanda bet out 22,500 after the draw and Eslami raised all in for 2,500 more. Juanda called even though he picked up a pair after the draw. Juanda held {7-}{7-}{8-}{4-}{3-} which was behind Eslami's {A-}{10-}{9-}{6-}{4-}.

Eslami is now a bit over 100,000.
