Dinner Time

The remaining 12 players are now on a 60-minute dinner break. See you in one hour when we will play down to the first bracelet of the summer.

Smith Doubles Through Cahlik

Level 16 : 4,000/8,000, 500 ante

Tyrone Smith opened in the cutoff to 17,000. Josh Cahlik in the small blind went all in and Smith called with his remaining 141,000. Smith's {k-Spades}{k-Clubs} was ahead of Cahlik's {q-Hearts}{q-Spades} when the hands were turned up.

A board of {9-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{a-Hearts} provided no help to Cahlik and Smith doubled up.

Haviv Bahar Eliminated in 13th Place ($4,028)

Level 16 : 4,000/8,000, 500 ante
Haviv Bahar
Haviv Bahar

We found Haviv Bahar all in with the last of his chips after a raise from Allan Kwong. Kwong called, and the players showed their hands.

Kwong: {A-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}
Bahar: {q-Spades}{9-Diamonds}

The flop came {3-Clubs}{5-Spades}{2-Spades}, and a turn of {4-Diamonds} left Bahar drawing to a chop. The river came {5-Hearts} however, and he hit the rail in 13th.

Meanwhile, at the other table, Chad Holloway had Vincent Petrino all in and at risk with fives against Holloway's aces. Petrino flopped a set however, and doubled up.

Bahar is Short

Level 15 : 3,000/6,000, 500 ante

Haviv Bahar raised from the hijack to 25,000. Josh Cahlik reraised from the small blind to 54,000. After thinking for a solid 3 minutes, Bahar called leaving only 25,000 behind.

Cahlik put Bahar all in dark before the flop was dealt. Bahar folds when he sees a flop of {j-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{3-Spades}.

Holloway Bullies Pingel

Level 15 : 3,000/6,000, 500 ante

Chad Holloway opened to 17,000 from the cutoff, and Brian Pingel made it 42,000 in the big blind. Holloway immediately announced he was all in.

"Do you have me covered?" Pingel asked. After being told he was indeed covered, Pingel thought for a few more minutes before he tossed his hand into the muck.
