A larger-than-expected field of 898 players entered Event #1: $500 Casino Employees No-Limit Hold'em. After 11 levels and over 14 hours, we've seen that number chopped down to 55.

Michael Trivett leads the way with 133,900 chips, putting him well clear of Sean Small's second-place stack of 103,700. Small boasts four World Series of Poker Circuit final tables on his resume. Rounding out the top five stacks are Chad Holloway (99,400), Wyatt Gibson (96,900) and Kevin Weathers (91,300).

On a board of {K-Spades}{A-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{j-Clubs}, Josh Cahlik fired out 7,000. His opponent insta-called.

"You got it," Cahlik said, and his opponent revealed {j-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} before taking the pot.

Rubino Doubles Through Anton

Level 11 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

David Rubino raised all in for 8,700 from middle position with {k-Spades}{9-Spades} and on his direct left, Danny Anton called with {7-Clubs}{7-Spades}.

The board ran out {6-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{4-Spades}{q-Spades}{10-Spades} giving Rubino a flush and a double up. Anton still has a healthy stack of around 65,000.

Harris Uses Aggression

A player in middle position raised to 4,700, the button called, and John Harris squeezed to 12,000 from the small blind. The middle-position player called, and the button folded. Harris saw no reason to slow down on the {2-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{6-Spades} flop, continuation-betting 15,000. His opponent asked for a rough count, but folded shortly thereafter.

Kevin Weathers opened to 3,100 from middle position and the player on his direct left raised all in for 11,600. Weathers showed {4-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} and his oppoonent turned over {k-Hearts}{q-Clubs}.

The pocket fours of Weathers took the pot with a board of {2-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{6-Spades}{j-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}.

Poon's Aces Cracked

A player under the gun raised to 3,600, and Tommy Poon made it 8,000 to go in the hijack. The player UTG called, and a flop of {4-Spades}{4-Hearts}{k-Diamonds} prompted him to move all in for 12,200. Poon snap-called, revealing {a-Clubs}{a-Hearts}. His opponent was in bad shape with {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs}, and things looked more dire after a {5-Clubs} turn. A miracle {k-Spades} hit the river, causing Poon to rock back in his chair in amazement as he was forced to double his opponent up.
