Hand #27: Grayson Scoggin raised and won the pot.

Hand #28: Mark Mierkalns raised in middle position, William James three-bet in the cutoff, and Malissia Zapata cold-called in the big blind. Mierkalns called as well, and the flop came {2-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{k-Spades}. The action checked to James, who bet, and both Mierkalns and Zapata called. The turn was the {6-Spades}, only Mierkalns check-called this time, and the {7-Hearts} completed the board. James fired one last bet when Mierkalns checked a final time, and Mierkalns folded.

Hand #29: Chiduziem Obi raised on the button, Eric Froehlich defended from the big blind, and then check-called on every street as the board came {2-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}. Obi rolled over {a-Clubs}{4-Spades} for a rivered straight, and Froehlich mucked, leaving him with just 11,000 chips.

Hand #30: Zapata raised on the button, Froehlich called all in for 11,000, and Brent Wheeler called in the big blind. The two checked it down as the flop turn and river came {j-Spades}{9-Hearts}{k-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}, and all three hands were tabled.

Zapata: {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}
Froehlich: {a-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}
Wheeler: {q-Hearts}{9-Clubs}

Froehlich was eliminated in ninth place, earning $14,585.
