Matros Plays Position

Matros, seeking a bracelet in his fourth consecutive WSOP, played his position perfectly when he and a middle position player called the 75 raise from the player under the gun.

The player UTG continued for 225 on a flop, the player to his direct left folded and Matros called. Both players checked the turn. The player UTG also checked the river, giving Matros the go ahead to take the pot with a 425 bet. His opponent folded and Matros was happy to add some chips to his stack.
