Chiu Fills Up on Mizrachi

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 2,000 ante

David Chiu completed only to have Michael Mizrachi two-bet next to act. Chiu made the call before checking fourth as Mizrachi bet out. Chiu responded by raising and Mizrachi called before calling a bet on fifth before he took the lead with a 20,000-chip bet on sixth.

Chiu: {X-}{X-} / {K-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} / {X-}
Mizrachi: {X-}{X-} / {5-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{3-Diamonds} / {X-}

On seventh Mizrachi bet 20,000 and Chiu raised to 40,000. Mizrachi went into the tank for a few minutes before making the call.

Chiu tabled his {K-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{4-Spades} for a full house and Mizrachi mucked his hand to slip to 110,000 as Chiu moved to nearly 450,000 in chips.

Matthew Ashton - 7th place
Matthew Ashton - 7th place

On the 44th hand of the final table we found Scott Seiver completing before Freddie Ellis made the call. Matthew Ashton called all-in for his last 17,000 before Seiver bet fourth with Ellis calling before he took the lead on fifth.

Seiver called, and then bet sixth before Ellis raised to 48,000. Seiver made the call and then both players checked seventh.

Seiver: {X-}{X-} / {10-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{2-Clubs} / {X-}
Ellis: {X-}{X-} / {5-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} / {X-}
Ashton: {X-}{X-} / {J-Diamonds}{9c]{K-Hearts}{2-Spades} / {X-}

Ellis tabled his {5-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} for trip fives to prompt a fold from Seiver as Ashton fluashed his {J-Spades}{8-Clubs}{8-Hearts} for jacks-up. Unfortunately for Ashton he wouldn't be able to improve on his 2nd and 3rd places this series as he headed to the rail in 7th place for a $18,266 payday.

Gary Benson Eliminated in 6th Place ($24,003)

Level 22 : 12,000/24,000, 3,000 ante
Gary Benson - 6th place
Gary Benson - 6th place

Freddie Ellis completed to 12,000 and Gary Benson made it two bets to go. Ellis made the call before betting fourth to put Benson all in for his last 4,000; Benson obliged and the cards were tabled.

Ellis: {10-Clubs}{7-Hearts} / {10-Diamonds}{10-Spades}
Benson: {Q-Spades}{9-Diamonds} / {K-Spades}{4-Hearts}

With Ellis in commanding shape, he caught the {Q-Clubs} on fifth as Benson found the {A-Diamonds}. Ellis spiked the {K-Diamonds} on sixth, and with Benson needing runner-runner, the {4-Clubs} wouldn't be what he was looking for as the {6-Diamonds} completed his board while the {5-Diamonds} for Ellis completed his.

For Benson's efforts, he collects $24,003 as Ellis continues to see his stack surge upwards.

Level 22 : 12,000/24,000, 3,000 ante
Frank Kassela - 5th place
Frank Kassela - 5th place

Frank Kassela completed to 12,000 and Scott Seiver two-bet next to speak. Kassela made the call before check-calling on fourth before he led out for 24,000 on fifth. Seiver made the call and then called Kassela's 13,000 all in bet on sixth.

Kassela: {X-}{X-} / {6-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{6-Clubs}{3-Clubs}
Seiver: {X-}{X-} / {5-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{7-Spades}{5-Spades}

Kassela tabled his {A-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts} in the hole to be trailing Seiver's {10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} for two pair. Unfortunately for the 2010 Player of the Year, he could only find the {7-Diamonds} on seventh as Seiver found the {A-Hearts} to send Kassela to the rail in 5th place as he moved to 930,000 in chips.

Mizrachi Back in the Hunt

Level 22 : 12,000/24,000, 3,000 ante

On the 57th hand of the final table we found David Chui completing with the {J-Hearts} before Michael Mizrachi called. Scott Seiver - who had the bring-in - made it two bets to push Chui out of the way before Mizrachi called.

Mizrachi bet out on fourth with Seiver check-calling before he bet fifth and sixth with Mizrachi calling each time before betting out 24,000 on seventh.

Seiver: {X-}{X-} / {6-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{2-Spades} / {X-}
Mizrachi: {X-}{X-} / {6-Spades}{8-Spades}{K-Clubs}{A-Hearts} / {X-}

Seiver contemplated for a few moments before folding his hand to gift Mizrachi the pot to move him to over 260,000 in chips.
