Negreanu Busts Redraw Coming

Level 15 : 700/2,500, 500 ante
Daniel Negreanu
Daniel Negreanu

Daniel Negreanu has been eliminated in 25th place by Frank Kassela, and we are now redrawing to three tables. When we arrived at the table, the hands looked like this:

Negreanu: {j-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{q-Spades}{3-Spades}
Kassela: {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{8-Spades}{7-Spades}{2-Hearts}

On seventh, Negreanu was dealt paint - a queen would've given him a full house - but it was a meaningless {k-}, and Kid Poker was eliminated just short of the redraw.

We will have said redraw for you shortly.

Zintel and Seiver Continue to Battle

Level 15 : 700/2,500, 500 ante

Rudolf Zintel: {x-}{x-} / {7-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{q-Hearts} / {x-}
Freddie Ellis: {x-}{x-} / {a-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} (FOLD)
Scott Seiver: {x-}{x-} / {5-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{10-Spades} / {x-}

Ashton Griffin was late from dinner, yet he still brought it in with the {4-Hearts}. Ellis completed, Seiver and Zintel both called, and Griffin's hand was mucked. All three players checked on fourth street, and on fifth the action checked to Zintel. He bet, and only Seiver called.

The pair checked on sixth, then Seiver folded to a bet on seventh.

While this hand was going down, both Calvin Anderson and Konstantin Puchkov were eliminated with unknown action.

Seiver Over 100K; Players on Dinner Break

Level 14 : 500/2,000, 500 ante
Scott Seiver
Scott Seiver

Rudolf Zintel: {x-}{x-} / {4-Spades}{5-Clubs}{10-Spades}{5-Spades} / {x-}
Scott Seiver: {x-}{x-} / {2-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} / {x-}

We reached the action on sixth street, where Zintel led out for a bet. Seiver raised, and Zintel tank-called. Zintel check-called a bet on seventh, and Seiver ripped over {8-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{x-} for an ace-high flush. Zintel shook his head, then showed {a-Clubs}{k-Spades}{6-Spades} for a lesser flush.

"Wow," Seiver said, thoroughly surprised to see the contents of Zintel's hand.

The remaining 28 players are now on a 60-minute dinner break. We'll see you then.

Kings-Up for Benson

Level 14 : 500/2,000, 500 ante

Gary Benson: {x-}{x-} / {q-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{k-Clubs} / {x-}
Adam Friedman: {x-}{x-} / {10-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{j-Spades}{q-Clubs} / {x-}

We reached the table on fourth street, where Benson check-called a bet from Friedman. He check-called another on fifth, both players knuckled on sixth, and Benson led out on seventh. Friedman called, then showed the {10-Spades} and a {7-} when Benson tabled {k-Hearts}{q-Spades}{4-Spades} for kings-up.

Cappello KO'd by Friedman

Level 14 : 500/2,000, 500 ante

Catching the action fifth street we found Adam Friedman betting out 4,000. Joseph Cappello raised to 8,000 and Friedman put in the three-bet. Cappello committed an additional 600 and Friedman made the call as both player's boards ran out as follows to seventh.

Cappello: {6-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} / {4-Hearts}{2-Spades}{8-Hearts}{J-Spades}
Friedman: {Q-Clubs}{10-Hearts} / {10-Spades}{3-Clubs}{J-Hearts}{A-Diamonds}

Friedman caught the {Q-Hearts} on seventh to improve to two pair while Cappello's {5-Spades} on the river wasn't enough to see him remain alive.

Ship it to Seiver

Level 14 : 500/2,000, 500 ante

Rudolf Zintel: {x-}{x-} / {k-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} / {x-}
Ashton Griffin: {x-}{x-} / {4-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} / {x-}
Scott Seiver: {x-}{x-} / {9-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{8-Spades}{9-Spades} / {x-}

We caught up with the action on fifth street, where Seiver led out for a bet. Zintel tank-called, while Griffin was a little bit quicker in getting his chips in the middle. Seiver paired his nine on sixth, and fired out another bet. Zintel and Griffin called once again.

Seiver fired one last bullet on seventh, but this time he received no callers, winning the pot without a showdown.
