Hands 176-180: Check is Good

Level 30 : 50,000/100,000, 10,000 ante

Hand #176: Lind limped in and folded when Ott raised to 300,000.

Hand #177: Ott limped in and Lind checked his option, bringing a flop of {a-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} to the table. Lind then checked and folded to a 400,000 feeler bet by Lind.

Hand #178: Lind opened for 310,000, forcing Ott to fold.

Hand #179: Ott opened for 300,000 and Lind called, bringing a flop of {3-Hearts}{8-Spades}{j-Clubs} on board. Both players checked the flop, continuing the pattern of friendly heads-up play, and the {9-Diamonds} came on the turn. Another check from Lind prompted a bet of 300,000 by Ott, which was enough to force the fold.

Hand #180: Ott received a walk in his big blind.

Hands 172-175: Handicapped Parking

Level 30 : 50,000/100,000, 10,000 ante

Hand #172: After a limp by Lind and check by Ott before the flop, we saw the {10-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{j-Spades} arrive on board. The two players practiced gentlemanly senior style poker, and the board was checked down on all three streets. Ott rolled over his hand first, and the {10-Spades}{8-Hearts} was good enough for the win.

Hand #173: The action repeated itself on this hand, with a limp and check preflop, and the {4-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{5-Hearts}{7-Clubs} board being checked down. Lind's {J-Spades}{7-Diamonds} was the winner over Ott's {J-Hearts}{10-Spades}, and Ott said "you got it on the river," while tossing his cards away.

Hand #174: Ott went for a walk in the big blind.

Hand #175: Ott raised his button to 300,000, and Lind called to take a flop of {j-Hearts}{q-Spades}{a-Diamonds}. Once again, both players tapped the table through the turn ({q-Hearts}) and river ({4-Clubs}), and the pot was chopped when both players turned over king-high.

Hands 166-171: Lind Is Catching Some Cards

Level 30 : 50,000/100,000, 10,000 ante

Hand #166: Ken Lind folded from the button giving Dana Ott the walk.

Hand #167: Ott completed the small blind and Lind checked his option. Lind check called Ott's 500,000 bet on the {10-Spades}{3-Spades}{5-Hearts} flop. The {3-Diamonds} turn saw Lind check call Ott's 700,000 bet. Lind check the {7-Diamonds} river, Ott bet 1,000,000 and Lind called. Ott had two pair with {10-Hearts}{7-Hearts} but it wasn't good against Lind's better pair with {q-Diamonds}{q-Spades}.

Hand #168: Lind folded the small blind and Ott received a walk.

Hand #169: Ott bet 360,000 and Lind folded.

Hand #170: Lind completed the big blind and Ott checked his option. Both players checked the {8-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{7-Spades} flop. Dana led for 375,000 on the {k-Hearts} turn and Lind called. Both players checked the {j-Clubs} river. Ott had {10-Spades}{7-Clubs} and Lind {9-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} for a chopped pot.

Hand #171: Ott completed the small blind and Lind checked his option. Lind check called the 300,000 bet of Ott on a {9-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}. Both players check the {9-Clubs} turn. Lind checked the {a-Hearts} river. Ott bet 350,000 and Lind called. Ott tabled {j-Hearts}{8-Clubs} for two pair but Lind had better with {9-Hearts}{8-Spades} for trip nines.
