Ronald Lee on the Short Stack

Level 3 : 50/100, 0 ante

Former World Series of Poker Europe Main Event final tablist Ronald Lee is on a short stack after taking a hit in a recent pot.

Under the Gun +1, Lee raised to 200 and was only called by the player in the big blind. The flop fell {A-Clubs}{K-Spades}{9-Hearts} and the big blind checked. Lee bet out 200 again and was called.

On the {A-Spades} turn, action went check check, and check check again on the {6-Clubs} river.

The player in the big blind showed {K-Diamonds}{Q-Spades} and Lee mucked. After that hand Lee dropped to 1125 chips.

Chen Doubles Back to Starting Stack

Level 3 : 50/100, 0 ante

Bill Chen is now back to starting stack after doubling up through Theo Tran. We didn't catch all the action be we do know that Chen flopped trip aces with {A-}{K-} to take down the pot.

After the hand Tran is under starting stack with just 19 big blinds.

Eames Doubles in a "Weird Spot"

Level 3 : 50/100, 0 ante
John Eames
John Eames

Preflop, while John Eames was making a decision, a player after him acted out of turn, raising to 200. The player pulled his bet back and Eames just limped in, prompting the player to make the same raise of 200. The big blind called the 200, as did Eames.

On the flop of {8-Spades}{7-Clubs}{J-Spades}, the big blind checked, as did Eames. The original raiser made it 525, which was enough to make the big blind fold. Eames though moved all in for just over 1,200 and was called by the raiser.

Eames: {A-Spades}{A-Diamonds}
Raiser: {2-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}

The {6-Clubs} turn and {9-Diamonds} river were not good for the original raiser though as Eames doubled through to just over starting stack.

"That was a weird spot," Eames said to another player after the hand in reference to the preflop action.
