Musumeci Sends One Home

Level 10 : 400/800, 100 ante

Amanda Musumeci has been picking up chips all day. We just walked by her table only to see her taking out another player.

The player moved all in for 4,500 from middle position. On the button, Musumeci made the call, both blinds folded, and it was off to showdown.

Musumeci: {A-Clubs}{8-Hearts}
Player: {Q-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}

"Ahhh man," the other player said.

The dealer quickly fanned out the {A-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{K-Hearts}{3-Hearts} board and it was good for Musumeci who moved up to nearly 50,000 chips.

Le Loses One

Level 10 : 400/800, 100 ante

We just saw Nam Le take a little hit, he's still alive and kicking though. In the hand, one player limped under the gun. Le also called from middle position. The player in the hijack seat then made a raise to 2,400.

Action folded back around to Le, who made the call after thinking for a bit.

The flop fell {K-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{4-Spades} and Le checked. The hijack player then made a bet of 3,300. Le took his time once again, then called.

On the {10-Spades} turn, Le checked once more. The player in the hijack seat then cut out a bet of 9,000, leaving himself only 2,800 behind.

Le looked shaken by the decision he had to make. He looked at his cards several times, pulled his headphones out of his ears, and finally took one last look at his cards before folding.

After the hand, Le was left with 24,500 chips.

A Leader Emerges:

Level 10 : 400/800, 100 ante

And his name is Charles Sylvestre. Sylvestre started the day with 85,600 chips, but he has nearly doubled his stack in the first two levels of play. When we walked by the table, Sylvestre was involved in another pot where he three bet an opening raiser to 5,700. Everyone folded and after the hand he showed {J-}{J-}.

"You can't stop him," one of his tablemates said. "You can only hope to contain him."

It appears as if Sylvestre has the biggest stack in the room so far, but if we see bigger, we'll be sure to update.

The Money Bubble Looms

Level 10 : 400/800, 100 ante

With only 329 players left, only 5 more eliminations will put every other player in the money. Hand for hand play will be beginning soon and we'll be sure to try and catch the bubble hand.

Bubbles Broke

Level 10 : 400/800, 100 ante

It only took one hand of hand for hand play to bust the money bubble. We weren't able to catch the bubble hand but all the remaining players are now in the money.

Seiver Snatches Some

Level 10 : 400/800, 100 ante
Scott Seiver
Scott Seiver

Preflop, Scott Seiver raised to 1,800 from under the gun +1. Another player made it 3,300 from middle postion and the rest of the table folded back to Seiver. Seiver made the call and the two players moved on to the flop of {4-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{6-Spades}.

Seiver checked the flop before calling a bet of 4,500 from his opponent.

The turn came the {5-Spades} and this time Seiver bet out 9,000. His opponent took a few seconds to think before mucking his hand. With that Seiver is up to 62,000 in chips.
