We walked into the middle of a big pot involving recent bracelet winner Mark Radoja. He was heads up on a completed board of {8d. Radoja was first to act, and he fired out 2,100. His opponent decided to raise it up to 5,500, and it was back to Radoja, who went into the tank. He thought for about a minute or two before folding, though he didn’t look too thrilled about doing so. His opponent didn’t show, and Radoja was forced to swallow the hit, which knocked his stack down to 11,000.

There were four players that took a flop of , including Andy Seth and David Williams. Williams checked to Seth, who fired out 2,300. Only one player called, and that player had just 100 chips left behind going to the turn, the . The two players had already put the chips in before that card came, and the river was the . Seth showed for eights and fives and the nut low, and we barely caught a glimpse of the other player's hand, as he quickly mucked it once the hand was over. We did however see a in his hand, which wasn't good enough to beat Seth, who is now up to 40,000 after that pot.

Bracelet winner David "OBD" Baker has made it no secret on twitter that he has been running bad so far this summer, and it looks like that trend has continued in today's event. The last time we walked by Baker's table, he still had an about average stack of 11,000, but it looks like that went away rather quickly, as we just saw him post this.

Mike Matusow has had a resurgence of sorts this year. After laying low for the past few years, Matusow came roaring back earlier this year when he won the NBC Heads Up Championship, beating his good friend Phil Hellmuth in the finals. He rode that to a bracelet win in Event #13 $5,000 Seven-Card-Stud Hi-Low Eight-or-better just two weeks ago, and has three top 18 finishes total. Well Omaha-8 is Matusow's best game according to him, and he's certainly showing that today, as he has amassed an impressive stack of 33,000, which is one of the biggest ones in the room at the moment.

David "Doc" Sands was part of a three way flop that read . The first opponent checked to the second, who fired out 3,000. Sands tanked for a bit before stacking up a big raise of about 12,000, and sliding it in. The first player quickly folded, and the second called off the rest of his stack, which was about 8,000.
Sands:
Opponent:
The set for Sands was dominating his opponent, and he was in great shape to pick up most of the pot. The on the turn gave his opponent flush draw outs to go along with the case ace, but nietherme came on the river, as that card was the . Sands ended up picking up three quarters of the pot, as both players shared the same low.
After picking up that one, Sands is up to 34,000.
