Gathy: {A-Hearts}{J-Hearts}
Bishop: {A-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}

The {J-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{4-Spades} flop propelled Gathy into the lead and he let out a "Yes!" and a small fist pump. That yes was turned into a no as the {Q-Hearts} gifted Bishop the lead. The {K-Hearts} river failed to change the outcome of the hand and Bishop doubled up.

Hand #84
Michael Gathy opened to 50,000 from the button, as both blinds folded their hands.

Hand #85
Sergey Rybachenko opened to 50,000 from under the gun, which was good enough to take down the pot.

Hand #86
Sergey Rybachenko received a rare walk in the blinds.

Hand #87
Michael Gathy would receive the same walk one hand later.

Hand #88
The action started with Benjamin Reason opening to 50,000 from under the gun, before Sergey Rybachenko raised it up to 130,000. Reason looked over at his opponents stack, before announcing all in for 362,000, which was snap-called.

Rybachenko: {Q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}
Reason: {A-Clubs}{J-Spades}

The board ran out {5-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{K-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{6-Spades} to see Reason dodge a whole lot of outs and win with his ace-high.

Rybachenko Rallies

Level 24 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

Sergey Rybachenko may have shown up late after the restart but it appears to have done him the world of good as he has increased his stack by 457,000 chips since the restart.

Hand 76: Benajamin Reason opened to 50,000 from the button, Rybachenko three-bet all in for 528,000 from the big blind and Reason mucked his hand.

Hand 78: Yueqi Zhu received a walk in the big blind.

Hand 79: Bishop open-shoved from under the gun and won the blinds and antes.

Hand 80: Rybachenko opened to 50,000 from under the gun. Next to act was Michael Gathy who three-bet to 115,000. Rybachenko called and it was heads-up to the {10-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{J-Clubs} flop.

Rybachenko checked and Gathy checked behind. Rybachenko then led for 100,000 when the {4-Hearts} landed on the turn and Gathy let his hand go.

Hand 81: Gathy opened to 50,000 under the gun and Rybachenko called in the big blind. The {2-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} flop saw Rybachenko initially check, Gathy make it 54,000 and Rybachenko check-raise all in for 699,000. Gathy removed his sunglasses before staring at his opponent for close to 45 seconds, his gaze only diverted for the briefest of moments as he checked his cards. Eventually, Gathy mucked and Rybachenko claimed another pot.

Gathy Building

Level 24 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

Hand #71
Michael Gathy opened to 50,000 from under the gun, before Yueqi Zhu raised to 135,000 from the cut-off. The bet was enough to take down the pot.

Hand #72
It folded around to Daniel Bishop on the button, who limped in, before Sergey Rybachenko moved all in for 250,000 from the small blind. With the big blind getting out of the way, Bishop made the call as the players tabled their cards.

Bishop: {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}
Rybachenko: {A-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}

The board ran out {8-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{A-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{7-Spades} to see Rybachenko flop top-pair, and hold, as he double up to over 500,000 in chips.

Hand #73
Michael Gathy opened for 64,000 from the small blind, and Yueqi Zhu folded from the big blind.

Hand #74
The action again folded around to the blinds, before Yueqi Zhu opened to 54,000. Benjamin Reason made the call, as both players saw the flop come {5-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}. A continuation bet of 90,000 from Zhu was quickly met with a fold from Reason.

Hand #75

Gathy Hits a Straight

Level 24 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

Hand 70: Michael Gathy was first to act in the cutoff and he made it 50,000 to play. His only customer was Daniel Bishop in the big blind, who called.

Both players checked the {J-Spades}{k-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} flop, and Bishop then check-called a 65,000 bet upon the arrival of the {A-Diamonds} turn. The river was the {Q-Hearts} and Bishop checked once more. Gathy placed a 80,000 bet and after 25-40 seconds, Bishop called.

Gathy showed {10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} for a straight, Bishop couldn't beat that and he mucked his hand.

Jason Duval Eliminated in 6th Place ($44,422)

Level 24 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante
Jason Duval
Jason Duval

Jason Duval has been eliminated after being caught making a move in a battle of the blinds.

Duval was first to act from the small blind and he peeked at his cards before instantly announcing he was all-in. Benjamin Reason was the big blind and he said, "I call, too."

Reason: {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}
Duval: {Q-Clubs}{8-Hearts}

Duval stood from his seat and let out a couple of expletives, obviously disappointed to get his chips into the middle in such bad shape. The {J-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds} flop failed to help Duval and neither did the {6-Diamonds} turn. The {10-Hearts} completed the board and a disappointed Duval headed to the cashier cage to pick up sixth place money.

Jake Cody Eliminated in 7th Place ($33,456)

Level 23 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante
Jake Cody
Jake Cody

Hand #66
The action started with Jason Duval opening to 50,000, before Jake Cody opted to move all in for 417,000 from the small blind. Michael Gathy asked for a count from the big blind, before moving all in for his entire stack. Duval quickly mucked, and Cody called, as both players tabled their cards.

Cody: {A-Clubs}{J-Spades}
Gathy: {10-Spades}{10-Clubs}

The board ran out {4-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}, to see Gathy hold with his pair, as Cody was sent to the rail. The tournament will definitely be quieter now, with 90% of the rail leaving after that elimination.

Gathy Applying Pressure

Level 23 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Hand #62
Daniel Bishop starts us off with an open to 75,000 from under the gun, and takes it down.

Hand #63
Michael Gathy opened to 50,000 from the hijack, before Jason Duval raised to 132,000. With the decision back on Gathy, he grabbed for big stack of 25,000-chips, and slid them into the middle. The raise had Duval covered, and he opted to fold.

Hand #64
Michael Gathy kept his aggression going in the next hand, were he opened to 50,000, which was enough to take down the pot.

Hand #65
Benjamin Reason decided to get involved, and opened to 50,000 from the cut off, and had no callers.
