David Williams raised to 350 from early position and Erik Seidel reraised to 1,000 from late position. When action was back on Williams, he reraised all in for his final 1,750 and Seidel called.

Beth Shak opened the action with a raise under-the-gun plus one to 500. She got one caller before the player on the button moved all in for 925. Bracelet winner Michael Gathy in the big blind also moved all in, for 2,850. Shak seemingly had a hard decision as she took her time and talked to herself the entire time. "Wow!" she said, "Oh my God!" talking about the action in front of her. "Part of me wants to call because I've got someone coming out tonight" she later said. She didn't listen to that part though as she eventually folded. the caller folded as well, so Gathy was heads up against the player on the button.

The player in the hijack position opened to 500 and called as Ivan Demidov made it 1,100 from the big blind. The flop came and Demidov bet 1,000 with just about 1,200 behind. His opponent waited for a few seconds, and than put all his chips in the middle. Demidov reluctantly called and showed his . His opponent waited for a couple of seconds, leaned over and eventually showed his . Demidov was in trouble and would soon be out after the on the turn and on the river.
