Isaac Hagerling Eliminated in 10th Place ($23,010)

Level 22 : 8,000/16,000, 0 ante
Isaac Hagerling - 10th Place
Isaac Hagerling - 10th Place

Ryan Chapman raised to 35,000 on the button, Isaac Hagerling defended in the big blind, and the flop fell {4-Spades}{6-Hearts}{2-Hearts}. Hagerling checked, Champman continued for 75,000, and Hagerling check-raised the pot. Chapman announced all in - it was more a formality than anything - and Hagerling called.

Chapman: {a-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}
Hagerling: {k-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{7-Spades}{3-Spades}

Both players made their flush when the {7-Hearts} turned, but Chapman held the {a-Hearts}, and Hagerling was drawing dead. The {q-Spades} completed the board, and Hagerling exited in 10th place.

The players are taking a short break, and we will have full counts for you shortly.

Two of Three for Clements

Level 22 : 8,000/16,000, 0 ante

Hand #1: Scott Clements limped in from middle position, then Jeff Madsen raised to 64,000 from the hijack seat and only Clements called.

The flop came {4-Spades}{J-Spades}{5-Diamonds}. Clements checked, Madsen bet 76,000, then Clements check-raised the pot to 352,000 total. That was enough to make Madsen fold, and Clements claimed the pot.

Hand #2: Clements and Joni Jouhkimainen both called from middle position, and Danny Hannawa checked from the big blind. All three checked the {A-Hearts}{J-Hearts}{K-Spades} flop. The {3-Diamonds} fell on the turn, and when it checked to Jouhkimainen he bet 38,000, and both of his opponents folded.

Hand #3: Clements limped in from early position, Hannawa called from the small blind, William "Tom" Black raised to 32,000 from the big blind, and both Clements and Hannawa called. The flop came {9-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}, and it checked to Clements who fired 32,000, good enough to win his second hand out of three.

Hand #4: William Black called in the small blind, Scott Clements raised to 46,000 out of the big blind, and Black called. The dealer fanned {2-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{10-Hearts}, Black checked, and Clements fired out 55,000. Black folded, and Clements showed two aces.

Hand #5: Clements completed from the small blind, Joni Jouhkimainen checked, and the flop fell {9-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}. Clements checked, Jouhkimainen bet 25,000, and Clements called. The {8-Spades} turned, Clements bet the pot (82,000), and Jouhkimainen folded.

Hand #6: Danny Hannawa raised to 55,000 in the hijack seat, Clements three-bet to 175,000 on the button, and the action folded back to Hannawa, who called all-in.

Clements: {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}
Hannawa: {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}

Hannawa's kings held as the board ran out {2-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}, doubling to 350,000 chips. Clements dipped down to 565,000.

Limping, Calling, Seeing Flops

Level 22 : 8,000/16,000, 0 ante

Hand #7: William "Tom" Black called from the hijack seat, Scott Clements called from the cutoff, Douglas Corning called from the small blind, and Jeff Madsen checked his option from the big blind.

The flop came all babies — {2-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} — and all four players checked. The turn was the {9-Hearts}, and this time when checked to it was Madsen firing 35,000. The other three folded, and Madsen won the pot.

Hand #8: It was another four-way limped pot, this one involving Clements (hijack), Joni Jouhkimainen (cutoff), Madsen (small blind), and Ryan Chapman (big blind). All four checked the {9-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}{3-Spades} flop. The turn was the {10-Diamonds}, it checked to Clements who bet 39,000, and the others all stepped aside.

Hand #9: It folded to Douglas Corning who raised to 35,000 from the cutoff, and only Ryan Chapman called from the small blind. The flop came {7-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{9-Hearts}, Chapman checked, Corning bet 52,000, and Chapman folded.

Hand #10: William Black limped in, Scott Clements called, Michael Maryska completed from the small blind, and Jason DeWitt checked in the big blind. The flop was {3-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{6-Hearts}, Maryska checked, DeWitt fired 64,000, Black called, and Clements and Maryska both folded. The turn was the {7-Clubs}, DeWitt checked, and Black instantly announced "pot," making it 200,000 to go.

DeWitt tanked, then called all-in for less. He was drawing dead.

DeWitt: {k-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}
Black: {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{3-Spades}{7-Hearts}

The river was a meaningless {5-Diamonds}, and DeWitt was eliminated in ninth place.

Madsen's Set Serves Him Chapman's Chips

Level 22 : 8,000/16,000, 0 ante
Jeff Madsen
Jeff Madsen

Hand #11: Jeff Madsen opened for 35,000 from middle position and got two callers in Ryan Chapman from a seat over and Danny Hannawa in the big blind. The flop came {10-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}. It checked to Madsen who bet 55,000, and only Chapman stuck around. The turn was the {8-Spades}. Madsen led for 101,000 this time, and Chapman sat motionless for a few seconds, then made the call.

The river brought the {6-Spades}. Madsen bet once more, putting out 157,000 worth of chips. Chapman tanked for nearly a minute before calling, and Madsen tabled {A-Spades}{10-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{3-Clubs}. The set of tens was good enough, as Chapman mucked.

Clements Gets Sevens Twice

Level 22 : 8,000/16,000, 0 ante

Hand #12: The action folded to Danny Hannawa, who raised out of the small blind. William Black surrendered his big blind.

Hand #13: Hannawa raised again, this time from the button, to 45,000. Scott Clements defended out of the big blind, then checked when the flop fell {8-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}. Hannawa checked behind. The turn was the {9-Spades}, the two knuckled again, and the {q-Clubs} completed the board. The two checked again.

"Pocket sevens," Clements said, showing {7-Diamonds}{7-Spades}.

They were no good against Hannawa's {a-Spades}{q-Spades}{j-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} for a pair of queens.

Hand #14: Hannawa raised for a third consecutive hand, and took down the blinds.

Hand #15: Clements raised to 35,000 on the button, Joni Jouhkimainen called out of the small blind, and the flop came {7-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{5-Clubs}. Both players checked. The turn was the {8-Clubs}, Jouhkimainen led out for 42,000, Clements called, and the {q-Hearts} completed the board. Jouhkimainen checked, Clements fired 104,000, and Jouhkimainen tank-called

Clements fanned {k-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{7-Spades}{4-Spades} for a set of sevens, winning the pot.
