Naydendov Eliminates Seidel to Advance

Level 20 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Simeon Naydenov knows how to play shootouts. He came 10th in the $3,000 Shootout No-Limit Hold'em event earlier this series. He just locked up his seat for tomorrow's final 12 by taking out one of the greats in Erik Seidel.

In a back and forth match Naydendov finally grabbed the chip lead when he got his {k-Spades}{k-Hearts} in against Seidel's {8-Spades}{8-Diamonds}. Naydendov had to sweat an eight for the victory. The board ran pure {3-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{j-Diamonds} to give Naydendov the win and send Seidel packing.

Naydendov will go into tomorrow with 444,000.
