More Players Heads up

Level 5 : 150/300, 25 ante

Matt Berkey holds 33,000 in his heads up match, while Eric Baldwin also holds an advantage with 30,000. Russel Thomas has only 10,000 in his heads up match, and Jason Mercier and Liv Boeree are part of a three handed affair at their table.

Demaci Nearly Makes it Through

Level 5 : 150/300, 25 ante

We walked up to Christopher Demaci's table to see that he was heads up at his table, and we just so happened to walk into the middle of an all in pot. The flop read {4-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{2-Spades}, and Demaci was in the lead holding {7-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} against the {j-Clubs}{5-Clubs} of his opponent. The turn was the {2-Clubs}, giving his opponent a flush draw, and the {8-Clubs} on the river completed that flush. Demaci cringed when he saw the river, and he shipped most of his stack over to his opponent, leaving him with just 10,000.

Xuan Liu Ousted

Level 5 : 150/300, 25 ante

We heard Antonio Esfandiari saying "wowwww" from a few tables over, so we went to go investigate. Here's what we saw. Xuan Liu was head up with an opponent on a board that showed {a-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{6-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}, and it looked like both players had slow played their hands, as Liu made a comment along the lines of "I can't believe you checked to the river!" Her opponent held {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs} for a flopped set, and Liu had {j-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} for flopped bottom two pair.
