Schneider Doubles

Level 4 : 75/150, 0 ante

We arrived at the table on the flop as Lee Childs, who final tabled the WSOP Main Event in 2007, was involved in a hand against Tom Schneider, who recently won his third and fourth bracelets.

With the board reading {2-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{10-Clubs}, Childs bet out from the small blind position for 1125, and Schneider called. The turn was the {8-Diamonds}, and Childs pushed forward a stack of T1,000 chips, enough to put Scheider all in if he called. Schneider went into the tank for a couple minutes. He eventually called and turned over {k-Hearts}{4-Hearts} for a pair of fours. He was ahead of Childs's {a-Clubs}{j-Spades}, but Childs had a lot of outs as any club, ace, or jack would win the pot for him. Unfortunately for Childs, the river was the {9-Hearts}, and Schneider doubled up.
