Five-time bracelet winner Allen Cunningham entered this event late, but is already making his presence felt. After a preflop raise to 450 and one call, Cunningham called from the big blind, and the players took the flop three-handed. The dealer spread 
, and the preflop raise bet out for 600. Both other players called. All three players checked the 
on the turn, and then Cunningham led out for 2,000 when the 
fell on the river. The preflop raiser tanked for a minute, and eventually called, and the other player folded. Cunningham tabled 
for a straight, which was enough to win the pot.
On the very next hand, Cunningham raised from the small blind, and received no callers. He is now up to 8,800.
