Eric Crain raised it up to 1,600 in early position, and the next player to act called. It folded around to Jake Cody on the button, and he three bet it to 3,900, leaving himself about 4,000 behind. The small blind flat called, and Crain got out of the way. The original caller also called, and the flop came . The small blind led right out for 5,500, and the other opponent folded. Cody stuck the rest of his chips in with a disappointed look on his face, and when the cards were tabled, he saw the bad news he suspected.
