Event #41: $5,000 Pot-Limit Omaha (Six Handed)

Timoshenko Knocks Out Wolfe in 23rd

Shamus • Level 18: 3,000-6,000, 0 ante

On the next-to-last hand of the night at Table 347, Stephen Wolfe was all in before the flop versus two opponents, Yevgeniy Timoshenko and Steve Gross. The flop came {A-Clubs}{A-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}, and when Timoshenko bet, Gross stepped aside.

Wolfe had {K-Hearts}{J-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{4-Clubs} and was well behind Timoshenko's {A-Spades}{Q-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{3-Spades}, and when a {Q-} fell on the turn to fill up Timoshenko the river was no matter, eliminating Wolfe in 23rd.

Lasell King would then double up one more time — again with kings — versus Steve Gross when his {A-Clubs}{K-Spades}{K-Diamonds}{J-Clubs} held versus Gross's {10-Hearts}{9-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{4-Spades} through a {7-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{10-Spades} board, and the bags were brought out as play had concluded for the night.
