Break It Up

Level 28 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

The players are taking another 20 minute break. Niall Farrell and Martin Hanowski are in the middle of a huge pot that we will post shortly.

Hands #80-84: Farrell Doubles Through Hanowski For Massive Pot

Level 28 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante
Niall Farrell

Hand #80: Sandeep Pulusani raised to 110,000 and Martin Hanowski reraised to 250,000. Pulusani folded and Hanowski won the pot.

Hand #81: Niall Farrell raised to 110,000 and it folded around.

Hand #82: Michael Rocco raised to 100,00 from the small blind and Pulusani reraised to 250,000 from the big.

Rocco tanked for a solid two minutes and was trying to get some information from Pulusani. He literally leaned in over the table to get a good look at Pulusani's face. Pulusani must not have given away anything because Rocco went in the tanked for a good two minutes more. Pulusani finally called the clock and Rocco ended folding before the final countdown. Pulusani showed the {3-Clubs}.

Hand #83: Hanowski raised to 100,000 and and Farrell called. Both players checked the {2-Spades}{8-Hearts}{4-Spades} flop. Farrell check-folded to Hanowski's bet on the {5-Hearts} turn.

Hand #84: Pulusani raised to 110,000 and Farrell reraised to 265,000. Hanowski 4-bet to 425,000, Pulusani folded and Farrell reraised all in. Hanowski asked for a count and made the call with almost 2/3 of the chips in play at stake.

Farrell: {a-Spades}{k-Hearts}
Hanowski: {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds}

While Hanowski started the hand in the lead, Farrell's ace came right on the {a-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{9-Spades} flop. Farrell would maintain the lead through the {9-Clubs} turn and {5-Spades} river, giving him a majority of the chips in play and leaving Hanowski with less than 10 big blinds going into level 29.

Hands #67-69 Pulusani Gets a Lucky Chop

Level 28 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Hand #67 - Michael Rocco raised to 105,000 from the button, and he took down the blinds and antes.

Hand #68 - Rocco raised to 100,000, and Sandeep Pulusani moved all in for about 600,000. It folded back to Rocco, and he too kicked his hand in, giving Pulusani the pot.

Hand #69 - Pulusani raised to 110,000, and it folded around to Rocco in the big blind. He made it 250,000 to go, and when Pulusani moved all in, Rocco quickly called.

Pulusani: {a-Hearts}{j-Clubs}
Rocco: {a-Spades}{k-Spades}

Pulusani was in big trouble going to the flop, and he picked up some chop outs as it came down {q-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}. Pulusani could now catch an eight for a chop, and sure enough, the {8-Spades} hit the turn. The only way the hand wouldn't end in a chop is if a jack, king, or ace came on the river, but that card was the {10-Spades}, keeping Pulusani in the tournament.

Hand #61 Zo Karim Eliminated in 5th Place ($122,974)

Level 28 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante
Zohair Karim
Zohair Karim

Hand #61- Zo Karim open shoved all in from the button, and Martin Hanowski made the call from the small blind.

Karim: {k-Spades}{q-Hearts}
Hanowski: {a-Spades}{j-Diamonds}

Karim was drawing live going to the flop, and he hit top pair when it came down {5-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{q-Spades}. Hanowski was the one who now needed to catch the card, and just like it has done all day long, an unlikely {a-Hearts} came to give Hanowski the lead back. Karim was hoping for the re-suckout on the river, but the {3-Diamonds} gave him no help.

After winning that hand, Hanowski is our chip leader with 3.3 million.
