Lieu Takes Some Down, Then Loses a Big One

Level 22 : 0/0, 12,000 ante

Hand #67

Paul Lieu raised it up to 20,000, which was enough to take down the pot, as he tabled his {a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}.

Hand #68

Paul Lieu limped, before Ben Volpe raised it up to 28,000. The action folded back around to Lieu, who re-raised to 101,000, as Volpe then thought about his decision. Nearly a minute passed, before he opted to fold, relinquishing the pot to Lieu.

Hand #69 (Level Up)

Three players limped into the pot, before Blair Hinkle raised it up to 28,000. Paul Lieu made the call after deliberating over his decision, before both players saw the flop come {5-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{5-Clubs}. Lieu quickly checked, before Hinkle threw in a continuation bet of 20,000, which was called. The {3-Spades} fell on the turn, as Lieu checked once again. Hinkle paused, before throwing out a bet of 90,000, which was again called. The {k-Clubs} completed the board, as Lieu checked instantly for the last time. Hinkle saw motionless, looking at his opponent, before throwing betting out another 110,000 in chips. Lieu sat back in his chair, and counted out the call, whilest examining the remainder of his stack. He seemed about the aggression shown from Hinkle, as his arms started flying back in the air in disgust. He eventually made the call as Hinkle rolled over his {a-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} for trip fives, as Lieu tabled his {q-Clubs}{q-Hearts} for the losing hand.
