Fardad Spikes the River to Double Through Steven

In the last hand before the dinner break, Steve Gross opened for 40,000 from early position only to have Farshad Fardad three-bet to 115,000. Chip leader Brandon Steven then four-bet to 267,000 from the big blind, Gross folded and Fardad moved all in for 910,000. Steven Made a quick call and was in a dominant spot.

Steven was primed to extend his chip lead quite considerably, and that seemed likely through the 
flop and 
turn. Fardad needed an eight or a spade on the river to stay alive, and wouldn't you know it, the 
peeled off and Steven took a hit prior to leaving for dinner.
