Kulicki Wins an Important Flip

Level 15 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

Dominik Kulicki just stood up from the table to give us the details on his double up. With a raise and a three bet in front of him, he had the perfect opportunity to shove all in from the small blind with {A-Hearts}{K-Hearts}. The initial-raiser folded but the player on the button, who had three bet, made the call with pocket queens.

Kulicki flopped a flush draw and hit a fifth heart on the river. After that he won one more small pot and that takes his stack up to over 70,000 now.

Lo's Stacks Get High

Level 15 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

A player in late position made it 7,200 and Yun Lo made it 24,200 behind him. The initial-raiser now went all in for 43,300 and Lo made the call. Lo tabled {K-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} and the late position player was at risk with his {A-Clubs}{Q-Spades}. The flop came {2-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} and didn't change a thing. The {K-Spades} on the turn however made all the difference and the {Q-Clubs} on the river wouldn't change that. Yun Lo is now up to 290,000.

De Meulder Caught Bluffing

Level 15 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

On a {7-Spades}{A-Clubs}{Q-Spades} | {9-Spades} board we saw one player check, and the hijack bet 8,000. Matthias De Meulder made the call from the button, the player in middle-position folded. The river brought the fourth spade with the {K-Spades} and the hijack now checked. De Meulder bet, what looked like just 5,200, and received a quick call. De Meulder didn't directly open his cards and made it apparent his opponent would win with a spade. The hijack turned over {3-Spades}{4-Spades} and indeed won the pot.

Quads For Boatman

Level 14 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

When we arrived there was a pile of cards on the table which read {J-Clubs}{9-Spades}{A-Hearts} {J-Spades} {9-Diamonds} {9-Clubs}{9-Hearts}. That's a lot of cards on the table and we're pretty sure those last two belonged to Barny Boatman who had made quads that way. His opponent would tell us, without much emotion in his voice, that he had {A-}{K-} and they went all in on the flop. The ace high flop made all this action possible between top-pair, top-kicker and a set, and Boatman had rivered quads to make it just a little more special. Boatman now plays a little over 120,000.
