We came on a three-way hand over at Table 408 involving Rep Porter, Greg Raymer, and Tony Hartmann. They'd reached the flop with the board showing and about 12,000 in the middle. From the looks of things, it had checked to Porter on the button who bet 6,500 and Raymer had called from the small blind, then Hartmann had raised all in for 33,900 total.
Porter let his hand go after just a beat, and after thinking for a while Raymer folded as well.
Robert Price just earned a needed boost to his stack at the expense of chip leader Christopher George. The pair had bet their way down to the river, with the board rolling out , then , then . Price then tabled for a wheel, and George mucked.
Three more bustouts in rapid succession to report.
Both Alex Rocha and start-of-day-2 leader Howard Smith have fallen to earn min-cashes, and they were followed shortly by Scott Fischman who went out after failing to outdraw Robert Williamson III in a Badugi hand. That hand saw RWIII draw a 10 Badugi with to best Fischman's hand.
Shortly after the bursting of the bubble, both Jean Moussa and Jose-Luis Velador were eliminated in quick succession.
First it was Moussa being knocked out by Michael Jarmark in a stud-8 hand to be the first casher in 42nd. Then Jose-Luis Velador met his end in 41st in a hand versus Kenna James, also stud-8. Velador's (re-ordered) board showed (tens for high, no low), while James had (tens and fours, no low).
Michael Fant and Steven McLoughlin were both eliminated on the first hand of hand-for-hand play and will play the roles of co-bubble boys. With their eliminations, we are down to the final 42 players and are officially in the money!
