Musumeci Doubles

Level 7 : 150/300, 25 ante
Amanda Musumeci
Amanda Musumeci

Amanda Musumeci raised to 650. Lauren Billings put out a re-raise, Musumeci four-bet all in, and Billings called.

Musumeci: {a-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}
Billings: {3-Hearts}{3-Spades}

The board ran out {8-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{j-Spades}{k-Hearts}{j-Hearts}, putting two high pair on the board and counterfeiting Billings's pocket threes. Musumeci won the pot and doubled up.

Knockout for Boeree

Level 7 : 150/300, 25 ante
Liv Boeree
Liv Boeree

Liv Boeree raised to 700 in late position, and the player to her left moved all in for about 2,000. Boeree called and showed {q-Hearts}{10-Hearts}. The all-in player turned over {a-Clubs}{4-Clubs}, and the board came {7-Spades}{7-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{10-Spades}{2-Clubs}, giving Boeree a winning full house and busting her opponent from the tournament.

Baker Making The Right Decisions

Level 6 : 100/200, 25 ante

The board read {2-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} and there was a bet facing Amanda Baker. She raised and the all in and snap-call happened quickly. When the hands were tabled this is what we saw:

Baker: {j-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}
Opponent: {6-}{6-}

The river did not help Baker's opponent and she was eliminated from the tournament. While this decision may have been easier than some of her other ones, she is obviously playing in the zone and playing to win.

Coren Is A Non-Believer

Level 6 : 100/200, 25 ante
Vicky Coren
Vicky Coren

Vicky Coren raised to 450 from middle position and it folded to the player in the big blind who called.

The big blind check-called Coren's bet of 500 on the {j-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{4-Clubs} flop. Both players checked the {2-Hearts} turn and the big blind lead for 1,000 on the {6-Hearts} river. It took a while, but Coren eventually called.

Her Opponent: "Have a four."

Coren: "Good bet."

Her opponent turned over {a-}{4-} and made a believer out of Coren.

Shahade Eliminates Yet Another

Level 6 : 100/200, 25 ante
Jennifer Shahade
Jennifer Shahade

Jen Shahade raised to 450 preflop, and the button called for her last 450 in chips. Both blinds called as well, and four players (one all in), saw the flop. The dealer spread {9-Hearts}{a-Hearts}{9-Spades} and action checked around to Shahade, who continued for 900. Both blinds folded, and the remaining players turned up their cards. Shahade showed {k-Clubs}{9-Clubs} for flopped trips, and her all-in opponent held {8-Diamonds}{8-Spades}. The turn and river came {4-Spades}, {7-Hearts}, and Shahade took the pot, sending yet another player to the rail.
